Level 3 Diploma in HR Support (CIPD) 2022
During the covid pandemic I worked to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship.
I completed units of study in the following areas:

Through my End Point Assesment project I developed a culture of coaching throughout our school.

NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship) (National College) 2014
I completed three essential modules:

Strategic Leadership: Succeeding in Headship
My placement school was Burtonwood Community Primary School in Warrington.
I completed two elective modules:
School Improvement Through Effective Partnership
Leading Change for Improvement

Leadership Pathways (National College) 2010
Leadership Pathways is a personalised leadership development programme for school leaders at the pre-NPQH stage.
I completed units in:
Making the Difference
Engaging with Change
Effective Influencing
I also had to lead a whole school change project (my project was to improve links with the community) and then present to a panel on my impact in school through this project.

I completed placements at a range of schools during my teacher training.
4th Year – Teaching a Year Five/Six class at Manley Village School
3rd Year – Teaching a Year Six class at Runcorn All Saints C of E Primary School
2nd Year – Teaching a Year Three/Four class at Frodsham Weaver Vale
1st Year – Teaching a Year One/Class at Broughton Heath Primary School
I also completed a two-week enrichment placement working in the Communications department at Cheshire County Council.
I completed a four-year Bachelor of Education Degree at Chester University. I studied Maths (including statistics) and Education of Degree Level.

Throughout my first year at sixth form college I volunteered for one day a week at Willow Wood Junior School.
In 1996 I was joint-recipient of the Winsford Silver Jubilee Trust Award, awarded by Winsford Town Council.
In 1997 I was awarded the Verdin High School Centenary Prize.
